Smart Meters Used in Scotland to Spy on Consumer TV Habits

serveimageHMCTH9PC
Still think Smart Meters are about eliminating estimated bills?

…Research has revealed that Scottish viewers are the most likely to watch the highest number of episodes back-to-back, with the average reaching a record high of seven programmes…. The data from Scottish Gas shows that in 2015 entertainment energy usage in Scotland hit an annual high in April last year…. The utility company collected the information from Smart meters which come with a smart energy monitor, which gives households a better understanding of their energy use by showing them exactly what energy they are using on entertainment devices…

Microwaves, Cell Phone, Smart Meters Emit Waves That Cause Health Problems

wifi-emfsBy Catherine J. Frompovich

The more we learn about microwave technology, the more questionable it should become as to why we even should be so enamored with it. The latest thing we have to thank cell phone microwaves for is their ability to accelerate the release of mercury in dental amalgam (silver) fillings! Don’t believe that?
Well, here’s a published paper that says so.

In the 1st phase of this study, thirty patients were investigated. Five milliliter stimulated saliva was collected just before and after MRI. The magnetic flux density was 0.23 T and the duration of exposure of patients to magnetic field was 30 minutes. In the 2nd phase, fourteen female healthy University students who had not used mobile phones before the study and did not have any previous amalgam restorations were investigated. Dental amalgam restoration was performed for all 14 students. Their urine samples were collected before amalgam restoration and at days 1, 2, 3 and 4 after restoration. The mean +/- SD saliva Hg concentrations of the patients before and after MRI were 8.6 +/- 3.0 and 11.3 +/- 5.3 microg L(-1), respectively (p < 0.01). A statistical significant (p < 0.05) higher concentration was observed in the students used mobile phone. The mean +/- SE urinary Hg concentrations of the students who used mobile phones were 2.43 +/- 0.25, 2.71 +/- 0.27, 3.79 +/- 0.25, 4.8 +/- 0.27 and 4.5 +/- 0.32 microg L(-1) before the amalgam restoration and at days 1, 2, 3 and 4, respectively. Whereas the respective Hg concentrations in the controls, were 2.07 +/- 0.22, 2.34 +/- 0.30, 2.51 +/- 0.25, 2.66 +/- 0.24 and 2.76 +/- 0.32 microg L(-1). It appears that MRI and microwave radiation emitted from mobile phones significantly release mercury from dental amalgam restoration. Further research is needed to clarify whether other common sources of electromagnetic field exposure may cause alterations in dental amalgam and accelerate the release of mercury.

Can you imagine your cell phone is affecting your teeth and brain by releasing mercury from the fillings in your teeth! Mercury is a neurotoxin! Here’s an excellent overview about that, which ought to make every cell phone user think twice, I’d say.

Cell Tower Radiation Prevents Garden Cress Seed Germination

serveimage
What do cell phones, cell towers, Wi-Fi, Smart Meters and other “smart” devices all have in common?
They emit radiation, which no one wants to take seriously as having adverse health effects on humans. Medically, the adverse effects are called “Non-thermal health effects.”
In 2013, a ninth grade experiment for a national science fair found remarkable proof of radiation damage from Wi-Fi routers that was replicated by a peer review study. Wow! So, what did both experiments show? Garden cress seeds placed near Wi-Fi routers failed to germinate.

Dutch Study Suggests Wifi Is Killing Trees

Is-Wi-Fi-Killing-Trees-What-Our-Cities-Would-Look-Like-if-Wi-Fi-Was-Visible-700x465
The health-damaging effects of wireless technology has been a hotly debated topic in scientific circles for years now. Linked with increased stress, brain fog, insomnia, cancer, lower sperm count, Alzheimer’s Disease, behavioral issues and developmental delays, many are questioning the daily use of Wi-Fi, cellphones, tablets, smart meters and other modern ‘necessities.’

For anyone who has first hand experience with electromagnetic sensitivity triggered by these devices, there is little doubt of their negative effect on health, mental clarity and overall well-being. Regrettably, humans aren’t the only ones negatively affected by wireless technology. Researchers in the Netherlands have found electromagnetic pollution can also harm trees.

When officials in the Dutch city of Alphen aan den Rijn noticed malformations in local trees, they began to question the cause. After viral and bacterial infections were ruled out, researchers turned their attention to studying the effects of radio magnetic radiation on plant life.

According to a study by Wageningen University in the Netherlands, Wi-Fi signals could very well be responsible for the diseased trees, which exhibited bark tears, bleeding and leaves prematurely dying.

Electromagnetic Hypersensitivity from Microwave Technology

emf-hypersensitivity

Finally, there’s documented medical proof that electromagnetic hypersensitivity is a real-time health issue that actually can be verified using standard medical procedures and testing capabilities.

An international group of researchers aced it when they published their findings from the clinical study “Metabolic and Genetic Screening of Electromagnetic Hypersensitive Subjects as a Feasible Tool for Diagnostics and Intervention” in the November 2014 issue of Mediators of Inflammation.

So, the million-dollar-question has to be, “When will utility companies get up to speed on the latest in microwave technology damage to the human body?” Also, “When will public utility commissions nationwide institute proper procedures to protect consumers from such damage?”

Pennsylvanians currently are being bombarded by non-thermal health problems from public utility companies’ electric, natural gas and water Smart Meters, which operate using microwave technology.

Smart Meters, Wi-Fi and Cell Phones Can Cause Brain Cancers

serveimage

Every pro-‘smart’ technology proponent – be it manufacturer, supplier, utility or Public Utility Commission – invariably likes to trot out ‘safety’ studies done 50 or more years ago on the then emerging radar technology that was considered ‘safe’. Why? Furthermore, what does that apparent ‘conspiracy’ say about keeping current and up to date on the very real science of how non-ionizing radiofrequencies (RFs) and electromagnetic frequencies (EMFs) cause harm to humans – the brain, in particular – and especially, children’s brains and bodies?

Children’s bodies, because of their size and quick growth patterns, are more vulnerable to RF and EMF radiation, the brain in particular. What moral, or supposedly legal, rights do the PA PUC, PA state legislature, PA utility companies, and PECO, an Exelon Company, in particular, have to mandate and harass consumers into accepting RF-EMF emitting AMI Smart Meters or cut off their electric power?

Lloyds of London will not cover health damaging radiation

cellt_dees

And now some major players in the insurance world are taking their own stance against the risks being posed by exposure to wireless technology including “smart meters”. A global insurer, Lloyd’s of London, known for taking on risky policies has put in a major exclusion clause for all policy holders, to exclude coverage related to exposure to wireless devices as of February 7, 2015.

Lloyd’s of London is one of the largest insurers in the world and often leads the way in protection, taking on risks that no one else will. The Electromagnetic Fields Exclusion (Exclusion 32) is a General Insurance Exclusion and is applied across the market as standard. The purpose of the exclusion is to exclude cover for illnesses caused by continuous long-term non-ionising radiation exposure i.e. through mobile phone usage.

Smart Energy GB Communications Director Lies to Public Live on BBC One Breakfast

At 09:47 on March 7, 2015, the Communications Director for Smart Energy GB — the government body tasked with “ensuring customers understand smart meters” — appeared on the BBC One Breakfast show and told viewers that every home in the UK would need to have a smart meter fitted by 2020 — a colossal untruth.

As we have repeatedly revealed throughout our campaign against the now “widely hated” smart meter roll-out, energy companies are commonly lying to customers in order to dupe them into thinking that smart meters are obligatory, when in fact smart meters are voluntary; a fact confirmed by the Government as well as by consumer group Which?.

Neuroscientist Exposes Dangers of Electromagnetic Fields

DSC_0454

Neuroscience has come under scrutiny for its involvement in an array of mind control initiatives and other ethically questionable research. But at least one neuroscientist from Sweden has gone on record to caution against the increasing dangers of Electromagnetic Fields (EMF) on human beings and other living organisms, as you will see in the presentation below.

Our modern world is creating an electromagnetic soup filled with electrical pulses, radio frequencies, computer screens, wireless signals, as well as personal devices such as cell phones and gadgets that are emitting damaging radiation. There are many peer-reviewed scientific studieswhich are drawing conclusions that should concern us all, but particularly young children and pregnant women. In fact, the debate is heating up to such a level that government agencies are even infighting over the matter, as evidenced when the Department of the Interior recently sent a letter with their own scientific papers chastising the FCC for using standards that are 30 years out of date. As the DOI stated, the concern is not only in the negative health effects upon people, but upon wildlife as well.

More health risks from mobile technology

The BioInitiative Working Group says evidence for health risk from wireless tech is growing stronger and warrants immediate action. The Group released a mid-year update covering new science studies from 2012 to 2014.

New studies intensify medical concerns about malignant brain tumors from cell phone use. “There is a consistent pattern of increased risk for glioma (a malignant brain tumor) and acoustic neuroma with use of mobile and cordless phones” says Lennart Hardell, MD, PhD at Orebro University, Sweden, according to studies released in 2012 and 2013. “Epidemiological evidence shows that radiofrequency should be classified as a known human carcinogen. The existing FCC/IEEE and ICNIRP public safety limits are not adequate to protect public health.”

A world-first clinical study into the harmful effects of Smart Meters

Smart-Meters-Not-healthy

A world first, the case study of Dr. Federica Lamech is yet to be published in a scientific peer-reviewed journal, but according to the American Academy of Environmental Medicine (AAEM ), it is no less “scientifically valid ” and ” clearly shows the harmful effects of emissions of smart meters on the health of the human population .” As an international association founded in 1965, the AAEM includes doctors and other health professionals interested in the impact of the environment on health.

The symptoms observed in patients of Dr Lamech such as fatigue, headaches, heart palpitations and dizziness are correlated with the guidelines of the Austrian Medical Association for the diagnosis and treatment of health problems related to electromagnetic fields (EMFs), emphasises the AAEM. The symptoms could also be triggered in the laboratory through EMF exposure under controlled-conditions (double-blind, placebo-exposure): neither the patients nor the researchers knew who was exposed or not to EMF.

WHO Knew About Harm From Electromagnetic Radiation

whoflag

On this day, two scientists distinguished themselves as authors of the thick, glossy tome that was almost the biggest presence in the press briefing. Co-authors Prof. Bernard Stewart, Faculty of Medicine, University of New South Wales and Christopher Wild, PhD, Director of the World Health Organization’s (WHO) esteemed International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) prepared to tell the world we are on the verge of a cancer tsunami. World Cancer Report 2014 was nearly six years in the making. IARC is the cancer agency of the WHO, and a core part of their mission is to disseminate information on cancer. They gather information, frequently classify the risk level of various substances, and share that news with the world. This day the news was daunting.

The Advisor then proceeded to state the unknown: “What was the future trajectory of this RF-EMF Spectrum classification given new science that had come along since May of 2011?” the gentleman queried. “Since Dr. Lennart Hardell, the scientist whose science was considered as part of the 2B classification, had come out in 2013 and said the classification should now be Group 1, meaning RF radiation is a known human carcinogen, might IARC upgrade the RF Spectrum to 2A, or even Group 1 – a known carcinogen?” Catching a quick breath, he continued, “In short, RF radiation causes cancer, the concern among independent scientists appears to be growing, and what does the panel see as a potential for upgrading the warning about RF radiation’s status as a carcinogen?”

Insurance firm warns of large losses from “unforeseen consequences” of wireless technologies

DSC_0454

Specialists from the Emerging Risks team at leading global reinsurance firm, Swiss Re, are warning the insurance industry that “unforeseen consequences of electromagnetic fields” could lead to a raft of claims and significant product liability losses in the next 10 years.

In its Swiss Re SONAR Emerging Risks report, 2013, which covers risks that could “impact the insurance industry in the future”, the company categorises the impact of health claims related to electromagnetic fields (EMFs) as ‘high’. It acknowledges recent reports of courts ruling in favour of claimants who have experienced health damage from mobile phones, and also says that anxiety over risks related to EMFs is “on the rise”.

Major US Utility Firm Blasts Smart Meters As “Irrational” And “Security Risk”

ea3105d4c39fca6c6cebf7958d856d9c

According to Halt MA Smart Meters, Massachusetts’ largest electric utility NSTAR has submitted scathing comments to the Department of Public Utilities (DPU) regarding its proposed mandate (to the utility, not the customer – there is no legal mandate for individual utility customers to accept “smart” meters on private property anywhere in the US or abroad that we are aware of – that is a myth and a lie perpetuated by utilities).

Smart Meter Dangers are Real

If you’ve been suffering from health symptoms since you had a smart meter attached to your home and others are telling you it’s just your imagination—take heart: there is clear evidence stating that smart meter dangers are real.

Calling for immediate caution regarding smart meter radiation health risks, a letter published by the American Academy of Environmental Medicine cites a number of peer-reviewed, double-blind, placebo-controlled research in humans, and concludes that…

“…significant harmful biological effects occur from non-thermal RF exposure, showing causality.”
.
It further states that the installation is irresponsible and calls not only for a moratorium on installation, but also immediate relief to those requesting it, including the return of analogue meters.
