The people should have a choice of what to think

I will decide what to think

The governments and the main stream media have lied to us for years. They tell us what to think all the time. They lie about the truth and they lie by omission. They always choose what they want us to know, what to think. The main stream media do not have investigative reporters any more they only have repeaters, who just read what they are given.

They lie about weapons of mass destruction, paedophilia, antisemitism, Russian meddling in elections, 9/11, wars in Middle Eastern Countries, NHS, Novichok, Venezuela, climate change, I could go on. And now Covid-19 is no exception.

This new virus is not much worse than seasonal flu and they have locked down the whole of our society to keep it from spreading. The people are not going to take it much longer. Jobs and small businesses are gone and may never come back any time soon. People are suffering in isolation, hospitals are quiet, A&E is quiet. Nurses have time on their hands to do choreographed dance routines, while not practising social distancing. Are people not getting ill from other things such as cancer, accidents, heart attacks, stokes, etc. Figures are down for these illnesses, perhaps the virus makes other diseases go away. No people are suffering in private and probably dying in private. Many nurses and doctors have come out in recent weeks to highlight how quiet hospitals are and give first hand evidence of manipulation of the figures.

Book burning is taking place on social media right now. People should have the choice to make up their own minds and not be dictated to by governments and media that have been proved to be lying for years. Once a liar has been found out you cannot trust them anymore.

Wake up, this cannot go on and we must rise up and take back our power.

Who are the real controllers?

There are certain people who want to rule over others, whether they are well intentioned, misled, egocentric, sociopathic or just plain stupid they are the pawns of the real controllers of this world. Trump falls into the plain stupid category, though he could fit into one or two others.

How the people could have voted for him in first place just shows how misled the people really are. But then the only real alternative was Clinton, which was no choice whatsoever. Good people are just never allowed to get into the White House race in a broken system that can only be changed by a people’s revolution. Change will never come from within, only now from without. If only the people realised the power they have and stop watching the game and start shaping their own future and not leaving it to someone else.

Our leaders only lead us into more war and make the world more unsafe.

The looming war between the US and North Korea is an unbelievable situation and will not end well. You only have to look at an atlas to realise that North Korea is a small country and is very close to South Korea, China, Russia and Japan. Any sort of conventional or even nuclear war will affect these other countries and ultimately lead to world war 3.

The fact that North Korea is building nuclear weapons is really only to protect itself from the likes of the US and its plan to rule the world and destroy any country that does not agree with it. The US has been conducting military exercises around the Korean peninsula for over a year now, which is something that our mainstream media is not willing to give us details of. The media work with governments to help bring the people on side with governments.

But why do our governments want always to have war when peace would be much easier to achieve. Why do they go for suffering and not a kind and caring world? People in general are peace loving and do not wish to have perpetual conflict.

The real powers on this planet seem to thrive on war and destruction, it certainly helps them to bring more control of the people and maybe this is the real agenda. Bringing in new laws and controls in the name of our freedom and security, when in the long term we will only be more imprisoned. More freedoms taken away and the people sleep walking into tyranny.

To bring about real change we just need to say no. We are the many and they are the few. They cannot control a people who are truly awake.

France: Government Sign Executive Order To Curb French Uprising

French Prime Minister Manuel Valls has called for emergency powers to deal with the growing unrest in France, as citizens revolt against their government.

Valls has invoked a special constitutional article to force through a controversial bill on Tuesday that he says should put a stop to the French revolution currently taking place.

This is the second time he has bypassed the legislature on this issue amid stiff opposition from members of his own party.

Strikes and protests in France threaten to derail Euro 2016

This week, France is not just clearing up after its worst floods in decades. Its citizens have also moved into their third month of resistance to government plans aimed at reforming the country’s labour regulations. And as the Euro 2016 football tournament approaches, a failure to settle this long-running dispute could hit the host country hard.

The French government’s proposed employment reforms have seen strong opposition since March, and have led to large collaborative protests. Students and unions came together on 31 March with a massive general strike attended by over 1.2 million people, and this event sparked the ‘Nuit Debout‘ (or ‘Night on Our Feet’) movement – which has organised people’s assemblies and occupied city squares.

Opponents of the proposed changes have said they will reduce workers’ rights and make it easier for companies to fire their employees. According to some polls, up to 70% of the French population is against the reforms, and over 1.3 million people have now signed an online petition opposing the changes.

A government under pressure

The government plans – referred to by some as “the bosses law” – have so far prompted strike action from railway and Metro workers, from employees of 16 out of France’s 19 nuclear power stations, and from Paris refuse collectors. Air France pilots have also threatened to strike. There have also been protests at most oil refineries and fuel-handling ports in the country.

Huge strikes shut France down—and could bring government to its knees

Electricity production across France dropped yesterday, Thursday, after workers in all 19 nuclear power stations voted to begin strikes to defend workers’ rights. Around 80 picketing workers set up a barricade of burning tyres in front of the Gravelines station.

The government is already scrambling to cope with strikes in all eight oil refineries and blockades of fuel depots. Dipping into France’s strategic oil reserves hasn’t stopped an acute petrol shortage. A vote to strike by workers at France’s main oil import terminal will only increase it.

CGT union spokesperson Marie-Claire Cailletaud said, “All the nuclear stations have voted for strikes and 12 reduced production overnight.

“The rest were to follow this morning. Electricity will certainly have to be imported.”

Striking workers and supporters cut off both fuel depots on the island of Corsica. CGT official Jean-Michel Biondi said, “We’re joining the national protest movement against the Work Law and our action will continue.

“There aren’t many workers in the depots and the bosses want to intervene to make sure the fuel gets out, but we’re not going to let them.”

The escalation of strikes against a proposed Work Law last week has demonstrated vividly how workers keep society running—and how they can shut it down.

Iceland Has Offered Foreign Bondholders A “Choice”: Sell Now, Or Have Cash Impounded Indefinitely

Iceland has had a difficult past few months politically, as its Prime Minister Sigmundur David Gunlaugsson became the first casualty of the Panama Papers.

Economically however, the story is more upbeat, as the country has rebounded since the financial crisis. The Icelandic Krona has stabilized against the Euro, the rate of change in inflation has slowed, and the country has recorded year-over-year growth in GDP each year since 2011.

However, in a shocking turn of events, a law passed on May 22 by Iceland’s parliament is offering the foreign holders of about $2.3 billion worth of krona-denominated bonds a choice of either selling out in June at a below-market exchange rate, or have the money they receive upon maturity be impounded indefinitely in low interest bank accounts. In other words, Iceland is trying to kick out foreign investors.

Iceland’s Biggest Political Party Is Now The “Pirate Party”

Iceland’s anti-establishment Pirate Party continues to lead nationwide polls as the most popular choice for the next elections. The party — whose policies include internet freedom, drug decriminalisation, and open democracy — has consistently led the polls for the last year and, as a result, has secured more funding than any of its rivals.

The 2008 financial crisis hit Iceland hard. The following year, the krona was devalued by around 50%, unemployment doubled, and capital controls were introduce. Miraculously, the country rose from the ashes to become one of Europe’s top performers in terms of growth. More recently, the political establishment has been in turmoil since three government ministers were implicated in the global Panama Papers scandal.

Despite their struggle, or perhaps because of it, the list of reasons to admire Icelanders keeps on growing. Whether it’s the sentencing of senior bankers — or the mass outrage at the offshore leak, which propelled 10% of the population to the streets and ousted the Prime Minister — the radical refusal of Icelanders to bow down and accept establishment corruption is admirable.

Because of this, the surge in popularity of the once-fringe Pirate Party comes as little surprise — recent polls suggest almost half the nation supports them. In Iceland, financial support for political parties is allocated based on how well they have done in polls.

Manifesto of the Awakened

by Zen Gardner
We hereby officially notify all those complicit in this massive control program that:

  • We are aware of your efforts to dumb down, anesthetize and control the world’s populations.
  • We are aware of your destructive programs to sicken and alter humanity through the chemical, electromagnetic and genetic modification of our food, plants, animals and ourselves.
  • We are aware of your wanton destruction of our earth, skies and oceans through resource exploitation, geoengineering and weather modification.
  • We are aware of your many false flag events and surreptitious “strategy of tension” schemes purposely designed to keep the world in perpetual fear and continual wars against fabricated outside enemies for control and profit.
  • We are aware of your fascist medical designs to drain and destroy humanity via the decrepit allopathic medical system based on profit and ill health at every level, including the proliferation of pharmaceuticals, invasive and debilitating treatments and deliberately damaging vaccines.
  • We are aware of your moves toward a worldwide police state based on hyperbolized fear and disinformation to manipulate humanity in order to get an unspoken imprimatur to execute your program of control and subjugation.
  • We are aware that your political crony establishment is all staged and designed to distract from the real issues and keep the populace occupied and feeling like participants while you work your nefarious program.
  • We are aware of your falsely imposed vampiristic taxation system to fund further bureaucratic bloat, controls and an overarching agenda of genocidal wars on innocent peoples, and that it is arbitrary and our sovereign choice to simply not participate in any longer.
  • We are aware that a select few major corporations with vested interests in this global agenda now control almost all media and that mass media is nothing more than a mouthpiece of propaganda to these ends.
  • We are aware that your “entertainment” industry is simply socially engineered entrainment towards personal and social distraction, chaos and degradation.
  • We are aware of your AI, electromagnetic grid and mind manipulating designs and technologies that are being imposed to further expand your psychopathic control program.
  • We are aware that you repress emerging technologies that threaten existing parasitic profitable ones, such as the hazardous petroleum and nuclear industries, when alternative energy sources and other such solutions have arisen for many decades which you have suppressed.
  • We are aware that you sequester knowledge and information in a vast array of fields to keep the general populace in the dark and thereby disempowered as to our true historical context, while you are coveting secret information and carrying out advanced covert research for your own ends.
  • We are aware that you have stigmatized, marginalized and seek to outlaw any form of criticism, questioning or dissent using whatever excuse you can manufacture.
  • We are aware of your oppressive, enslaving monetary and legal control scams, private fractionalized banking pillaging, and twisted cravings for money and power in an imposed control system that never needed to exist in the first place.
  • We are aware of your falsely postured institutions, foundations, institutes, charitable organizations and international bodies such as the so-called United Nations and its many agencies and agendas being used to further develop your global control plans and programs.
  • We are aware of your secret societies, blood line allegiances and luciferian, freemasonic, Babylonian and otherworldy roots that propel the wickedness of your self appointed leaders. We are aware of your ritual sacrifices, paedophelia and bestiality inclinations and other sordid practices, all of which are anathema to our conscious race.

All Icelanders receive money after government takes over ownership of bank

Every Icelander will receive about US$232,802 for the sale of one of the country’s three largest banks, Islandsbanki.

Creditors of the failed bank proposed the nationalisation of Islandsbanki, in which they hold a majority stake. The move will help Iceland lift capital controls imposed after the 2008 financial meltdown and will give Icelanders a fair share of the failed bank’s sale.

Finance Minister Bjarni Benediktsson announced in late October that the government will take “some decided portion, five per cent, and simply hand it over to the people of this country.” Icelanders took control of their government, so they now own the banks.

This Is the End of the Line for Syriza

Greek banks have reopened after weeks of closure. The patient and orderly way customers queued outside to use ATMS during the big shut down was an impressive sight, especially for those people who are fond of considering Greek people as somehow incapable of doing things right.

But nothing is harmonious. The queues outside the job centres are as long as ever, while many of the shops that shut down at the same time as the banks, still haven’t reopened. Anti-austerity and anti-governmental protests have started to take place for the first time since Syriza came to power. Dozens were arrested as the Greek parliament voted to accept a new bailout deal from Europe, based on the very terms that were rejected just days earlier in a national referendum. Fresh riots took place as the parliament passed a law that allows the confiscation of people’s homes.

As Syriza burns its bridges with the general public, life for the majority of people has returned to hopeless normality – indeed, many people have spent more time talking about the wildfires that have broken out around the country than the troika in the past few days.

July 5: Greek Independence Day; July 15: Greek In Dependence Day

The Greek parliament just voted, in a 229 for and 64 against landslide, to implement the austerity Europe demands to grant Greece the funds for Bailout #3 so that Greece can then repay European creditors (as opposed to facing up to the pain imminently and suffering through a Grexit) implicitly giving up their sovereignty and sending their 61% “Oxi” voting citizenry into what will inevitably be an even deeper economic depression.

They should have voted the other way. Surely now the Greek people will rise up and take back their country from the vultures of Europe. The people have had their democracy stolen. The government is full of traitors who do not care about the people who they were elected to serve.

Why Iceland’s Decision To Jail Its Bankers Is Triggering A Revolution

Iceland also allowed bankers to be prosecuted as criminals – in contrast to the US and Europe, where banks were fined, but chief executives escaped punishment.

The proof that Iceland’s decision six years ago is now baring fruits could trigger a world wide revolution – something that the elites are desperately trying to keep a lid on.

The chief executive, chairman, Luxembourg ceo and second largest shareholder of Kaupthing, an Icelandic bank that collapsed, were sentenced in February to between four and five years in prison for market manipulation.

“Why should we have a part of our society that is not being policed or without responsibility?” said special prosecutor Olafur Hauksson at the time. “It is dangerous that someone is too big to investigate – it gives a sense there is a safe haven.”

Syriza Official Vows to Kill EU-US Trade Deal as ‘Gift to All European People’

An official with Greece’s newly elected Syriza party may have sounded the death knell for a proposed EU-U.S. trade deal that has faced a mountain of opposition from civil society.

The deal is the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP), now facing its eighth round of talks between negotiators this week in Brussels.

The TTIP, which would be the biggest trade deal ever, has been criticized as a corporate-friendly deal that threatens food and environmental safety under the guise of “harmonization” of regulations.

Georgios Katrougkalos, now deputy minister for administrative reform, confirmed what he had told EurActiv Greece ahead of his Syriza party’s victory last week: that his parliament would not ratify the trade deal.

Is Revolution Possible?

OK is revolution possible in our modern world and more importantly is peaceful revolution possible.

There have been peaceful revolutions in the past, it all depends on whether the ruling classes think they can overcome an angry public or not. Take Iceland for example, when their banks failed big time in 2008 the people were not having it and managed to get the resignation of the entire government of the country. They nationalized the bank, had a referendum enabling the people to determine their own economic system, incarcerated the responsible parties, and rewrote the Iceland Constitution. With a population of over 325 thousand it may be a little easier to get things done, easier to bring people together in a single cause and not get bogged down with other issues.

That’s what is important, having a clear goal that everyone can work together on.

Iceland’s Amazing Peaceful Revolution

How to start a revolution: Learn from Iceland!

Revolution in Czechoslovakia

How about the Velvet Revolution in former Czechoslovakia, or should I say the Gentle Revolution as the Slovaks used from the beginning.

On November 16, 1989, Slovak high school and university students organized a peaceful demonstration in the centre of Bratislava. The next day, November 17, 1989 riot police suppressed a big student demonstration in Prague. That event started a series of demonstrations from November 19 to late December. By November 20, the number of protesters assembled in Prague had grown from 200,000 the previous day to an estimated 500,000. A two-hour general strike involving all citizens of Czechoslovakia was held on November 24. On November 27, the entire top leadership of the Communist Party, including General Secretary Miloš Jakeš, resigned. The Communist Party announced on November 28 that it would give up power and give up the single party state. On December 10 they had their first largely non-communist government since 1948. I June 1990, Czechoslovakia had its first democratic elections since 1946.

As far as the history goes no one was killed during this revolution, so it is possible that a people can get real change when they are organized and working together as a single unit for a single cause.

The Velvet Revolution

Revolution in Leipzig

East German dissidents had been meeting in an 800 year old church in Leipzig for nearly 10 years. At first a few people met to pray and talk politics, but over the years this increased and by 9 October 1989 there were 8,000 inside and more outside that could not fit in.  Pastor Christian Fuehrer said “When we came out of the church there were so many people expressing themselves and demanding their freedom.” During the autumn of 1989 the movement had gone national there were up to 100,000 on the streets in Leipzig despite warnings from the Stasi. In the end the police did nothing, which gave the movement more momentum and peaceful demonstrations spread out across East Germany.

This all helped to bring about the collapse of the Berlin wall and not many people really knew of the demonstrations in East Germany that started in Leipzig a decade earlier, the media instead concentrating on the collapse of the wall. It was the people who did it, they have the power to do anything they want so long as they get organised.

We are the People

OK so most revolutions were not peaceful and people died, but peaceful revolution has been possible given the right circumstances. Human societies need revolution every now and again in order to progress and keep in check the ruling classes who mean to keep people subservient.

The people have more power than they realise, if enough people just say no, then there is nothing the ruling classes can do about it.

US meddling with Ukraine’s internal affairs by dispatching mercenaries to southeastern regions

The deployment of mercenaries by the US-based private company Greystone to southern regions in Ukraine is a continuation of Washington’s interference in Ukraine’s internal affairs, Igor Korotchenko, editor-in-chief of the Russian National Defense magazine believes. The dispatch of Greystone soldiers to Ukraine may be financed by Ukrainian oligarchs and organized in coordination with the US State Department, Korotchenko explains.

According to the RIA Novosti, Greystone is one of the biggest private security companies in the West and is closely associated with US intelligence agencies. The agency is used in situations when the deployment of US security forces is inappropriate. Mercenaries working for Greystone are notable for their cruelty in combat missions, so they won’t have any problems mopping-up southeastern Ukraine.

It was a busy today for both Ukraines. Oh yes, there are definitely two, not including Crimea. In East Ukraine we saw three major cities, Donetsk, Lugansk and Kharkiv, go “in play”. The timing was no coincidence, I am sure. The pro-Russian activists gave it their best shot by taking over some city buildings, asking for Russian protection, and declaring themselves to be independent states, with May referendums to confirm.
Gosh, if things were only that easy, but they aren’t. Over on the other side of the country, the Right Sector crowd had besieged the Supreme Court in Kiev, after only having been run out of town last week.

Civil war looms as pro-US regime threatens massacre of east Ukraine protesters

Ukraine stands on the brink of civil war, as the unelected pro-Western regime that seized power this February in Kiev threatens a bloody crackdown on protesters occupying local government offices in cities across traditionally pro-Russian sections of eastern Ukraine.

Protesters are demanding a referendum to federalize Ukraine and limit the authority of the new, far-right regime in Kiev. Some protesters have also called on their areas to vote to join Russia, as the former Ukrainian region of Crimea did last month, or declared independent “people’s republics” in Donetsk and Kharkiv.

Andrei Senchenko, the deputy head of the presidential administration in Kiev, said his regime’s security forces would “shoot to kill” if protesters did not abandon buildings in Donetsk, Luhansk and Kharkiv by today.

Senchenko’s threats echoed those of Irina Farion, a legislator from the Fatherland Party of US-backed Prime Minister Arseniy Yatseniuk. She demanded death for the protesters saying, “Today’s reaction is unacceptable. The measures should be much tougher. Our people laid down their lives. That’s why those creatures that arrive here deserve only death.”

Militias Are On Route: Is the 2nd American Revolution Starting in Bunkerville, Nevada?

An area just outside of the little town of Bunkerville, Nevada, with a population of around a thousand people, may go down in history. This little spot in the desert may be compared with Lexington, Massachusetts, the site of the “shot heard round the world” – the first shot fired in the American Revolution. Because it looks like the second American Revolution may start there…and soon. Yesterday, The Daily Sheeple reported that tensions were running high outside of Bunkerville. It seems that the US government, in all of their infinite wisdom, has declared war on a cattle rancher named Cliven Bundy.

Armed federal officers have arrived to steal Bundy’s cattle and close down the land he is using. What’s more, they have declared a zone around the area to be free of the restrictions of the Constitution, specifically, the First Amendment right to assemble and speak freely. They’d like to keep their reprehensible actions quiet and out of the public eye. It’s really difficult to mow down a bunch of protesters ala Waco with the whole world watching.

Up to 5,000 Armed Militia Members Will Be Arriving in Bunkerville, Nevada Today

It is apparent that the Federal government was under the impression that they could simply move into the ranch land surrounding Bunkerville, NV and have their way with the property and livelihood of the Bundy family. What they didn’t count on was the outcry from Americans across the country. And now things may be headed to the next level. As Kim Paxton of The Daily Sheeple notes, citizen militias in several states have been called up. Many members of those organizations are taking up arms and are making their way to Nevada.

And it’s not just the citizen militias that are preparing to take action. The governor of Nevada has officially condemned the federal government’s actions, though he has yet to take any steps afforded to him under State law. Sheriff Richard Mack of Gilbert, Arizona has weighed in and calls the actions “terrorism.”

At last count there were some 200 federal agents from various agencies on the ground in Nevada and it appears that hundreds, perhaps thousands, of armed militia members will soon arrive to confront them.

The Federal government will no doubt step up their efforts, as they are facing the possibility of a widespread rebellion resulting from their actions against a private citizen whose only “crime” was to graze his cattle on the land his family has used for this purpose for over a century. It would not be at all surprising to see the President of the United States call up National Guard troops and more militarized law enforcement officials for fear of having this spiral out of control. A declaration of martial law to go along with already established First Amendment Areas is not out of the question.

And so it begins

Iceland Dismantles the Corrupt – Then Arrests Ten Rothschild Bankers

“The truth of the matter is… No one, except the Icelanders, have been the only culture on the planet to carry out this successfully. Not only have they been successful, at overthrowing the corrupt Gov’t, they’ve drafted a Constitution, that will stop this from happening ever again.

“That’s not the best part… The best part, is that they have arrested ALL Rothschild/Rockefeller banking puppets, responsible for the Country’s economic Chaos and meltdown. Last week 9 people were arrested in London and Reykjavik for their possible responsibility for Iceland’s financial collapse in 2008, a deep crisis which developed into an unprecedented public reaction that is changing the country’s direction…”

Western Looting of Ukraine Has Begun

It is now apparent that the “Maiden protests” in Kiev were in actuality a Washington organized coup against the elected democratic government. The purpose of the coup is to put NATO military bases on Ukraine’s border with Russia and to impose an IMF austerity program that serves as cover for Western financial interests to loot the country. The sincere idealistic protesters who took to the streets without being paid were the gullible dupes of the plot to destroy their country.

Politically Ukraine is an untenable aggregation of Ukrainian and Russian territory, because traditional Russian territories were stuck into the borders of the Ukraine Soviet Republic by Lenin and Khrushchev. The Crimea, stuck into Ukraine by Khrushchev, has already departed and rejoined Russia. Unless some autonomy is granted to them, Russian areas in eastern and southern Ukraine might also depart and return to Russia. If the animosity displayed toward the Russian speaking population by the stooge government in Kiev continues, more defections to Russia are likely.

Ukraine Shocks Population With Staggered 100% Heating Price Increase While Restricting Cash Use

In a TV address to his divided nation, Ukraine’s PM Yatsenyuk stunned the people by first suggesting heating prices would rise gradually, then confirming a plan that will see prices rise 100% in the next 2 years (and almost 200% by 2017) as the cost of imported Russian gas is expected to be around $500 (up from the current $84). This standard of living crushing move was then followed by tougher capital controls, restricting cash purchases to around $1300 per person per day after the Central bank basically admitted “amid a tense situation in money markets” it was broke. And all of this comes on the heels of what can only be described as a vague pro-forma comment by US and EU governments over the riots by the “Right Sector” ultranationalists that clearly did not want to upset the state-sponsored thugs too much.

Egypt’s mass death penalty breaches international law: UN

Security guards stand near men charged with murder on the first day of a trial in Qena

The United Nations (UN) has strongly condemned Egypt’s military-installed government for handing down mass death sentences to the supporters of country’s ousted President Mohamed Morsi.

The UN human rights office said on Tuesday that the Egyptian court’s decision to sentence more than 500 members of the Muslim Brotherhood to death contravened international law.

A spokesman for the UN high commissioner for human rights called the mass death penalty astounding in recent history.

Rupert Colville also criticized the fairness of the trial of Morsi’s alleged supporters over widespread irregularities.

Moldova breakaway state requests to join Russia

Moldova’s breakaway Trans-Dniester region has submitted a plea to the Russian parliament to draft a law that would incorporate the territory into Russia, an official says.

Speaker of the Supreme Council of the Trans-Dniester Moldovan Republic, Mikhail Burla, forwarded the appeal to Russian State Duma Chairman Sergei Naryshkin, considering absorbing the territory to the Russian Federation, Russia’s newspaper Vedomosti reported.

Burla called on Russian lawmakers to expand legislation on Crimea’s absorption to cover Moldova’s Trans-Dniester region.

Crimean ‘referendum at gunpoint’ is a myth – international observers

The referendum on Crimea’s status is going peacefully, with record-breaking turnout, international observers report. Most of them told RT that the referendum is credible and the vote of the Crimean people should be respected.

No violations at the Crimea referendum have been reported by the international observers currently present in the republic.

“It’s all quiet so far,” Mateus Piskorkski, the leader of the European observers’ mission and Polish MP told Itar-Tass. “Our observers have not registered any violations of voting rules.”

Another observer, Ewald Stadler, member of the European Parliament, dispelled the “referendum at gunpoint” myth, by saying he felt people were free to make their choice.

“I haven’t seen anything even resembling pressure,” he said. “People themselves want to have their say.”

Obama Off The Ukrainian Deep End

The neo-fascist coup d’état that overthrew the democratically elected government of Ukraine has the President of the United States firmly on board. Obama’s support for this illegitimate, unlawful transfer of power in Ukraine has reached schizophrenic heights as an Executive Order has proclaimed a “national emergency” in defense of the Molotov tossing, spiked bat-swinging Neo-Nazis of Kiev. As Secretary of State John Kerry threatens to escalate the East/West conflict in cryptic allusions, the world now awaits the possibility of World War. US warships, planes and troops continue to scurry toward the region.

The Bitter Taste of IMF “Economic Medicine”: What the US-backed Regime is Planning for Ukrainian Workers

Behind incessant rhetorical invocations of a “democratic revolution,” Ukraine’s newly-installed government of former bankers, fascists and oligarchs is preparing draconian austerity measures.

The plans being drawn up are openly described as the “Greek model,” i.e., the programme of savage cuts imposed on Greece by the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and European Union (EU) that has caused Greece’s economy to collapse by nearly 25 percent in five years and produced a massive growth in unemployment and poverty.

In the case of Ukraine, however, this social devastation is to be unleashed against a country that has already been subjected to the scorched earth economics of capitalist restoration. Even before the latest events, Ukraine was the 80th poorest country in the world based on gross domestic product per capita, behind Iraq, Tonga and Bosnia-Herzegovina.

Obama’s Former Foreign Policy Adviser Said – In 1997 – that the U.S. Had to Gain Control of Ukraine

Neoconservatives planned regime change throughout the Middle East and North Africa 20 years ago. Robert Parry correctly points out that the Neocons have successfully “weathered the storm” of disdain after their Iraq war fiasco.

But the truth is that Obama has long done his best to try to implement those Neocon plans.

Similarly, ever since the Soviet Union collapsed in 1991, the U.S. has pursued a strategy of encircling Russia, just as it has with other perceived enemies like China and Iran.

In 1997, Obama’s former foreign affairs adviser, and president Jimmy Carter’s national security adviser – Zbigniew Brzezinski – wrote a book called The Grand Chessboard arguing that the U.S. had to take control of Ukraine (as well as Azerbaijan, South Korea, Turkey and Iran) because they were “critically important geopolitical pivots”.

It’s all blowing up out of proportion

Russian Neighbor Belarus Asks To Host Another 15 Russian Fighter Jets In Response To NATO Escalation

With NATO actively building up its airforce support in Poland and the Baltic states in recent days in a flashback to cold war military escalation and deterrence, and even launching AWACS planes over Poland and Romania to monitor the Ukraine crisis and “enhance the alliance’s situational awareness,” the inevitable has finally happened, and other Russian neighbor states, ones not alligned with the military treaty, have escalated in turn only this time the are showing their allegiance not to the west but to Russia.

Moments ago RIA reported that Minsk will “adequately react to the strengthening of NATO forces near the borders of Belarus, and will offer to host up to an additional 15 Russian aircraft, according to the President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko on Wednesday at a meeting of the Security Council of Belarus.

Russia Is Preparing to Invade East Ukraine, Estonia Says

Russian President Vladimir Putin is preparing to “invade eastern Ukraine” after occupying the country’s Black Sea peninsula of Crimea, Estonia said. Russia warned that Ukraine’s government has lost control of the country today, fueling concern the Kremlin may extend a military intervention as U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry called for it to halt a takeover of the disputed province. Events in Ukraine “clearly show that the Russian Federation only accepts force,” Estonian Defence Minister Urmas Reinsalu said in an e-mailed statement today. To deter Putin, “a clear message needs to be sent that an attack will cost the aggressor dearly.” In the biggest dispute between Russia and the West since the fall of the Iron Curtain, the standoff is shaking markets and threatening to upset more than two decades of economic and diplomatic integration between former Cold War enemies. It’s also raising the risk that a lasting geographical conflict zone may emerge between Russia and the European Union.

Bank run begins in Crimea: hundreds line up to pull savings out of banks

Ukraine’s largest bank says customers in the nation’s Crimean Peninsula are lining up to withdraw cash from their accounts as the region occupied by Russian troops prepares for Sunday’s referendum on joining Russia.

Lines of customers could be seen forming on Thursday outside Privat and other banks amid uncertainty over the peninsula’s future.

Britain’s Foreign Secretary William Hague is certainly talking a big game, but is having some trouble producing his big stick.

In Spanish bull-fighting, the man with the red cape is known as El Matador. He pretends he can stop the bull, but in the end is only attempting to fool the beast. When the Matador gets too fancy with his moves however, he sometimes ends up getting trampled by the beast. Either way, the crowd gets their money’s worth.

William Hague’s verbal show of force towards Russia is about as convincing to the crowd as that dusty old red cape. Hague is either too afraid, or too uninformed to tell the cluster of press microphones the truth – that neither EU, nor the UK, has any real leverage for economic sanctions, and cannot finish the fight which Washington and EU instigated and which all western players have actively egged on from the onset.

Leaked EU’s Ashton Phone Tape: Kiev Snipers Were Hired by US Supported Opposition Leaders

Kiev police snipers aim at protesters

On the 20th of February, according to reports, more than twenty protesters were killed by professional snipers. This was not a spontaneous event resulting from clashes between protesters and riot police, nor was it marked by an exchange of gunfire between the police and the Neo-Nazi militia.

The sniper killings had the hallmarks of a carefully planned operation. They happened within ‘the space of a few hours”. Moreover, the killings coincided with the meetings of President Viktor Yanukovych with a high level EU delegation. In a bitter irony, these targeted killings were used as a pretext to topple the government and issue an arrest warrant directed against president Yanukovych

The snipers who shot at protesters and police in Kiev were allegedly hired by Maidan leaders, according to a leaked phone conversation between the EU foreign affairs chief Catherine Ashton and Estonian foreign affairs minister, which has emerged online.

The Looting Of Ukraine Has Begun

According to a report in Kommersant-Ukraine, the finance ministry of Washington’s stooges in Kiev who are pretending to be a government has prepared an economic austerity plan that will cut Ukrainian pensions from $160 to $80 so that Western bankers who lent money to Ukraine can be repaid at the expense of Ukraine’s poor.

Before anything approaching stability and legitimacy has been obtained for the puppet government put in power by the Washington orchestrated coup against the legitimate, elected Ukraine government, the Western looters are already at work. Naive protesters who believed the propaganda that EU membership offered a better life are due to lose half of their pension by April. But this is only the beginning.

The corrupt Western media describes loans as “aid.” However, the 11 billion euros that the EU is offering Kiev is not aid. It is a loan. Moreover, it comes with many strings, including Kiev’s acceptance of an IMF austerity plan.

US Secretary of State Kerry tells Russia ‘you don’t invade a country on completely phony pretexts’

The US Secretary of State spoke today of the unacceptability of invading a sovereign country on phony pretexts in order to assert one’s own interests in the 21st century. But no, he was not speaking about the United States, as one might have thought.

“Since when does the United States government genuinely subscribe and defend the concept of sovereignty and territorial integrity? They certainly are not doing that at the moment in Syria. They certainly did not do that when they attacked Libya. They certainly didn’t do that when they invaded Iraq. They certainly didn’t do that when they attacked Serbia over Kosovo and then later on recognized Kosovo’s unilateral declaration of independence. The United States government merely pays lip service to sovereignty and territorial integrity, it picks and choses.

Ukraine’s Navy flagship refuses to follow orders from Kiev

Ukraine’s Navy flagship, the Hetman Sahaidachny frigate, has reportedly refused to follow orders from Kiev, and come over to Russia’s side and is returning home after taking part in NATO operation in the Gulf of Aden flying the Russian naval flag.

There has been conflicting information on where exactly the vessel is, but a Russian senator has confirmed to Izvestia daily that the frigate defected to the Russian side, RT reported.

Ukrainian troops dispatched in Crimea switch to region’s side

Ukrainian armed forces dispatched to Crimea have switched to the side of local authorities and are expected to take military oath soon, Russian news agencies report.

“Today the majority of the Ukrainian armed forces deployed in Crimea passed to the side of the authorities of the Crimean autonomous region. The transition was absolutely peaceful, without a single shot fired either by the military or by the forces of self-defense,” an unnamed source told RIA Novosti news agency.

The Road to World War III Runs through Ukraine

For the immediate moment, forget about all the talk about Russian troops training inside of the United States under a series of the Federal Emergency Management Agency Bilateral Agreements with the Russian military as now reported in European publications. For the moment, let’s suspend our comparisons of the extreme human rights violations committed by Russian backed sympathizers in Kiev and how the same is going to happen in the United States. When I read some of the accounts of the conflict and turmoil in the Ukraine, I feel like I have walked into the middle of the movie and the necessary background has gone unexplained. What first needs to be considered is the importance of the Ukraine and what it means to the grand chessboard as it potentially relates to World War III. There is but one, yet undeniable fact, whoever exercises control over the Ukraine will tip the balance of power in the world, both economically and more importantly, militarily.

Most of the accounts that we are reading are very misleading. These accounts would have us believe that there is an Ukrainian Spring event which surfaced on, or about, November 30th of last year. This is inaccurate as the struggle for who will bring the Ukraine under their sphere of influence has been brewing for some time.

150,000 Russian troops on alert, causes alarm in Ukraine

President Vladimir Putin put Russian combat troops on high alert for war games near Ukraine yesterday, the Kremlin’s boldest gesture yet after days of saber rattling since its ally Viktor Yanukovich was toppled as president in Kiev. Moscow said about 150,000 troops would take part in exercises in the Western military district that borders Ukraine, although it denied that the previously unannounced war games were linked to events in its neighbor. Thousands of ethnic Russians, who form the majority in Ukraine’s Crimea region, demonstrated for independence. They scuffled with rival demonstrators supporting the new Kiev authorities. The Crimea is home to part of Russia’s Black Sea Fleet, which Moscow said it was taking steps to secure.

Central Banker Appointed as Prime Minister of Ukraine

A reshuffled Ukrainian Parliament installed following a coup last week has voted to appoint Arseniy Yatsenyuk as the new prime minister of the country. Yats, as Victoria Nuland, the Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs at the U.S. State Department, called him, is a natural choice. He is a millionaire former banker who served as economy minister, foreign minister and parliamentary speaker before Yanukovych took office in 2010. He is a member of Yulie Tymoshenko’s Fatherland Party. Prior to the revolution cooked up by the State Department and executed by ultra-nationalist street thugs, Tymoshenko was incarcerated for embezzlement and other crimes against the people of Ukraine. Now she will be part of the installed government, same as she was after the last orchestrated coup, the Orange Revolution.

IMF Vultures Swoop to Asset-Strip Ukraine

The IMF is wasting little time in sending its vultures to asset strip Ukraine, with the announcement that the International Monetary Fund will offer financial assistance in return for “policy reforms”.

Issuing the IMF’s first official response to the crisis, managing director Christine Lagarde said IMF officials would be dispatched to Ukraine to, “start discussing with the Ukrainian authorities which policy reforms would be required in exchange for an emergency loan program.
