£800 million for Ministry of Defence

OK now we have it. On the back of the Russian spy poisoning the government has now surprisingly found £800 million for the Ministry of Defence, which was announced by Theresa May during prime minister’s question time this last Wednesday. Most of the money £600 million will go to the multibillion pound plan for 4 nuclear armed Trident/Dreadnought submarines to replace the aging ones we have and have never used. This is money that could be better spent on health and housing, not wars that will never happen. A great many people in this country opposes funding for more nuclear weapons so the government comes up with an idea that will persuade the population to change their mind. Their minds are not their own. So now it looks like the defence budget will not be scraped as Chancellor Philip Hammond has said.

It’s not the Russians

The Russians have been blamed for all sorts of things recently. We’ve heard a lot about election and referendum meddling. It seems our government is out to get Russia for whatever they can blame them for. It’s all about training the population to think a certain way and is generally not based on real facts. We are being prepared for some event in the future and it will not turn out good.

Former Russian spy Sergei Skripal 66 and his daughter Yulia 33 were exposed to a nerve agent supposedly originating in Russia, though it was actually developed in Uzbekistan and can be created anywhere with a modern lab.

Our leaders are extremely stupid and are just leading us down a very dangerous path. And when the war starts they will not put themselves in dangers way, that’s our job. Now the European leaders are following May our unelected Prime Minister with this nonsense, they must all have been taking their stupid pills. The European Council of Leaders is now saying “there is no plausible alternative explanation”. The Russians did it.

Traitors are what they are. We elect them to keep us safe and what do they do the complete opposite. How can the World be a safe place with sociopaths like these?

23 diplomats have now been expelled from Britain by our mindless government and the Russians follow suit. What’s next in this tit for tat exchange?

A large part of our gas supply comes either direct from Russia or through other European Countries. Will our gas supply be one of the casualties of a future exchange? About 25% of the gas consumed in the European Union comes from Russia.

Exasperated is what I am.

European remain propaganda

serveimageMAF1973W

There a lot of rubbish being spouted on both side of the ‘in or out’ campaign in the run up to the European referendum on June 23rd. More on the remain side.

Jeremy Hunt says that a Brexit would damage the NHS. No Mr Hunt, nobody could damage the NHS more than you are doing at present. Jeremy Hunt is on record saying that he would privatise the NHS.

Cameron says that the poor would be hit hardest by a Brexit. I think that the present Tory government is doing a great job of hitting the poorest hardest right now.

Cameron says the world would be a more dangerous place if we left Europe. But the present Tory government’s foreign policy is doing a wonderful job of making the world a more dangerous place.

Europe needs the UK. The UK does not need Europe.

Europe is but a stepping stone to World domination along with TTIP, TPP, NAFTA, CETA, and many other parts of the corporate agenda to take over the World and take our freedom.

I’m voting to leave. I’ve been waiting years for a chance to vote leave.

Tory lies over the EU

con-eu-campign-spot-min
This is pretty awkward for the Prime Minister and his Remain campaign. The paving slabs let the cat out of the bag – the very same group of campaigners have just swapped a banner. Then shuffled around to pretend they are different people in a different city at a different time.

Resorting to recycling activists for photo ops betrays the lack of support for Cameron’s version of the EU. Perhaps because his Europe is one of tax avoidance, corporate hegemony and privatisation.

In 2013, he personally shielded offshore trusts – much like the one that benefited him – from an EU tax crackdown.

Meanwhile, he has always firmly supported the US-EU ‘trade deal’ the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP), which would allow US giants to subvert our democracy in kangaroo courts while suing our governments for being perceived to inhibit profit. TTIP would also open up our public services to further privatisation.

People Are Finally Realizing the BBC Is a propaganda arm of the government

serveimage
The BBC has come under fire for its reporting on the May 5 elections, including its relentlessly hostile anti-Labour smear campaign, which has arguably bordered on vendetta. While the public broadcaster has long been slammed for institutional bias and undermining shifts toward a more progressive and inclusive Britain, its recent election coverage and orchestrated timing of reporting on other major issues seems to have grabbed people’s attention.

Reporting by the “public service broadcaster” over the last few weeks has called into question the political neutrality of the organisation’s political commentators. At the same time, many are waking up to the fact that the agenda they are subjected to is a carefully selected and edited version of the truth.

Israel’s endless misery for Gaza is backfiring

get-attachment-120

For those trying to read developments between Israel and Gaza over the past weeks, the picture has been unusually puzzling.

‘A month ago European diplomats and Palestinian officials in the West Bank suggested that Israel and Hamas were taking “baby steps”, as one Palestinian analyst termed it, towards a truce.

Then earlier this month, as an attack blamed on the extremists of Islamic State (ISIS) killed dozens in Sinai, an Israeli general accused Hamas of supplying the weapons used against the Egyptian military.

A short time later, a group of Israeli army commanders urged the easing of the near-decade blockade of Gaza as a way to end Hamas’ isolation.

So what’s going on? Does Israel want Hamas weakened or strengthened?’

If you want Muslims to identify with Britain, don’t demonise and bomb them

cameron_speech_460

IN HIS Birmingham speech about how to get Muslim people to identify with Britain, David Cameron announced nothing but further attacks on Muslims at home and abroad.

Given the Tories’ track record it is no surprise that his five year plan to deal with Islamic extremism at home pins all the blame on the Muslim community. Muslims, apparently, have not integrated sufficiently and they have allowed ‘extremist voices’ to dominate ‘within Muslim debate’.

The conclusion? A further clampdown on Muslim’s civil liberties is necessary in order to get them to identify more fully with British values of tolerance, democracy and free speech. The argument that ‘non-violent extremism’ can lead to ‘violent extremism’ opens the door to Orwellian levels of surveillance and harassment. Watch out. The world of thought crime is now with us.

Most of the speech was spent denying a connection between ‘radicalisation’ and Muslim’s ‘historic grievances’. The reason is simple; not content with demonising domestic Muslim communities, he is trying to clear the way for escalating the bombing campaign against Syria, a campaign it now turns out he has already started in secret and against the will of parliament.

Perhaps Cameron himself needs to integrate more with the British people. He is hardly one of us and he is certainly not in it together with us.

DESTROYING SYRIA TO MAKE IT SAFE FOR AMERICAN VALUES

serveimageLW0XIFLU

The UN’s refugee czar, Antonio Guterres, just asserted that there are now 4,013,000 Syrian refugees outside their homeland, and another 7.6 million as internal refugees from the war raging there since 2011.

That total’s some 11.6 million refugees- a staggering 50% of Syria’s population. Over a quarter million are refugees in Europe; the rest spread across the Mideast with the largest numbers in Lebanon and Jordan.

This flood of displaced people is the largest number of refugees in the past 25 years, according to the UN’s Guterres. In fact, Syria’s refugees now exceed in number the 5.5 million Palestinian refugees. At least the Syrians may one day return home; by contrast, Palestinians, stateless for over six decades, have no realistic hope of returning to their former homes in what is today Israel.

Before the 2011 war, Syria used to be a vibrant, growing nation with beautiful old cities and a rich, ancient culture going back over 2,500 years. Damascus is believed to be the oldest continually inhabited city in the world.

Syria was always regarded as the beating heart of the Arab world and its intellectual epicentre. It was also the progenitor of Arab nationalism, a long-time defender of the Palestinians, and a determined foe of Israel – though in recent years the Israeli-Syrian border has been very quiet. Damascus, two generations behind Israel in military strength, dared not confront the powerful Jewish state directly.

The Truth About Climate Change

get-attachment-615-587x307

Man-made “climate change” is largely a myth promoted by politicians to scare the public into accepting a vast expansion of government to supposedly stop “global warming.”

Global warming is a manufactured problem played up by the government to instigate a public reaction – fear – the government then exploits to offer a predetermined solution: the expansion of government at the public’s expense.

This strategy, now known as the Hegelian Dialectic, has been used successfully by politicians for millennia to expand government, which can only grow at the expense of individual liberties.

NASA scientists are now only 38% sure that 2014 was warmest on record
The Nasa climate scientists who claimed 2014 set a new record for global warmth last night admitted they were only 38 per cent sure this was true.

In a press release on Friday, Nasa’s Goddard Institute for Space Studies (GISS) claimed its analysis of world temperatures showed ‘2014 was the warmest year on record’.

The claim made headlines around the world, but yesterday it emerged that GISS’s analysis – based on readings from more than 3,000 measuring stations worldwide – is subject to a margin of error. Nasa admits this means it is far from certain that 2014 set a record at all.

Charlie Hebdo: A Convoluted World

08

By Dr. Elias Akleh.

The 40 world heads of states, who on a short notice dropped the affairs of their own nations and travelled to Paris to lead the protesters, epitomize the ultimate hypocrisy. One may question: are they here to support freedom of speech, or to protest the murder of people? If they are here to support freedom of speech we should remember that every one of them is actually waging his own war against his local journalists. If you pick any one of them and scrutinize the behaviors and policies of his government you would discover that they are the ultimate oppressors of free press and freedom of speech.
