This is a wonderful idea. If we as tax payers could choose where our tax is spent then the world would really change.

Iraq and Afghanistan war memorial and Tony Blair

A new War memorial was unveiled by the Queen on Thursday 9th March 2017 in Victoria Embankment Gardens, London. Yet another memorial to the tragic loss of life in unnecessary wars carried out by politicians in the name of security and democracy.

Some people are beginning to think that the portrait of the soldier depicted on the memorial has a striking resemblance to Tony Blair, who was responsible for the wars of Iraq and Afghanistan in the first place.

One veteran on Facebook said Blair’s appearance at the unveiling was “An insult to all who died” and many others labelled Blair as a traitor.

We tried to tell them when we marched in 2003 against the Iraq War

Iraq War Hindsight
Criticism of the Iraq invasion doesn’t stem from “hindsight”
Tony Blair and his allies have some incredible gall to try to dismiss the findings of the Chilcot report as being based on “hindsight”.

Back in 2003 when the likes of Tony Blair, Jack Straw and Alistair Campbell were incessantly propagandising in favour of British involvement in George W. Bush’s imperialist warmongering, there were plenty of people pointing out the flaws in their case for war.

The claim that our criticisms of their warmongering have solely sprung up solely through the wisdom of “hindsight” is a disgusting display of attempted revisionism.

Robin Cook

In his famous resignation speech Robin Cook pointed out a number of things. One of the most important themes was that the invasion and occupation of Iraq would represent an appalling failure in British diplomacy.

Charles Kennedy

The Chilcot report found that the peaceful options had not been exhausted before Bush and Blair rushed into war. Charles Kennedy made this point in a passionate speech against the invasion.

Jeremy Corbyn

As the democratically elected leader of the Labour Party Jeremy Corbyn has a much higher profile in 2016 than he did back in 2003 when he opposed the invasion of Iraq (he can be seen sitting behind Robin Cook during his resignation speech).

Tony Benn

Of all of the opponents of Blair’s insistence on helping the United States with their invasion and occupation of Iraq, Tony Benn was the most eloquent and compelling.

From Winston Churchill to Tony Blair: How British Leaders Destroyed Iraq for over a Century

After seven years, the Chilcot report has delivered a damning verdict on Tony Blair’s role in the war on Iraq, but British Prime Ministers playing a destructive role in Iraq is a centuries old practice.

Britain has used its military might and commercial prowess to subjugate Iraq and control its oil resources for over one hundred years.

Churchill invented Iraq. The end of World War I left Britain and France in command of the Middle East and the allies carved up the region as the defeated Ottoman Empire fell apart. Winston Churchill convened the 1912 Conference in Cairo to determine the boundaries of the British Middle Eastern mandate. After giving Jordan to Prince Abdullah, Churchill, gave Prince Abdullah’s brother Faisal an arbitrary patch of desert that became Iraq.

Historian Michael R. Burch recalls how the huge zigzag in Jordan’s eastern border with Saudi Arabia has been called “Winston’s Hiccup” or “Churchill’s Sneeze” because Churchill carelessly drew the expansive boundary after a generous lunch.

Churchill’s imperial foreign policy has caused a century of instability in Iraq by arbitrarily locking together three warring ethnic groups that have been bleeding heavily ever since. In Iraq, Churchill bundled together the three Ottoman vilayets of Basra that was predominantly Shiite, Baghdad that was Sunni, and Mosul that was mainly Kurd.

House of Commons: Jeremy Corbyn response to Chilcot inquiry

Jeremy Corbyn is the best hope for the UK at this time. We will not get anywhere with the Tories or Blairites who do not care what ordinary people think. A General election right now would get the Labour Party back in power, but only if Jeremy Corbyn is their leader. If Jeremy is pushed out then the Labour Party will not see the light of day for many decades.

Turkey is heading for a full blown dictatorship

Turkey Expands Definition Of ‘Terrorist’ To Include Alternative Media
serveimage

Turkey’s President Tayyip Erdogan has tightened his grip on Turkish media outlets by changing the definition of “terrorist” to include journalists who go rogue.

Erdogan has said that journalists who report independently of the state, including those working within alternative or independent media, will now be classed as terrorist sympathizers.

Other professions who come under the new ‘terrorist’ definition includes MPs, civil activists, and academics.

But surely the terrorist is Erdogan. He is the one that broke off the cease fire with the Kurds. He is helping the so called ISIS and bombing Iraq and Syria. Turkey is a member of NATO and wants to be a member of the European Union. The west needs to be more outspoken over Turkey. (Forsooth)

War on everything

serveimageCXDUYHWN
War on terror or War of terror

War on terror started soon after the World Trade Centre in New York was targeted with commercial airliners. This was possibly one of the world’s biggest false flag events and the American government and its so called allies went on to bomb Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya and is now fighting a proxy war in Syria, with the very real possibility of a third world war with Russia and/or China looming over the horizon.

First the enemy was al-Qaeda, then the Taliban in Afghanistan, the very organization that the west had encouraged to fight the Russians. After a few years the west seemed to have lost interest in Afghanistan and in the meantime had started a full scale war with Iraq killing possibly a million people and totally devastating the country before moving on to Libya to cause the very same destruction. In Syria our enemy is supposed to be ISIS or is it Daesh. Our enemy is whatever they say it is. Iran is next on the list.

This so called war on terror is simply a means to control the resources of these countries and has nothing whatsoever to do with bringing democracy to these once sovereign states. It is also about removing the last countries that have not joined the club. The banking cartel is the main reason for such destruction. The banks control the World not governments.

War on cash

It has been planned for a while now that cash will disappear completely from our everyday lives and credit and debit cards will be the only way to pay. Also the mobile phone will be pushed as a way to pay which might even make the cards obsolete. At the moment we have many different ways to pay but in the future we may only have one choice. Every transaction we make in the future whether buying or selling will be recorded somewhere. This information will be used to keep meticulous records of our lives in order to charge tax and build a profile of the person we are or the person they think we are. Already some major banks are lowering their interest rates to zero or below and some countries are beginning to think about getting rid of cash altogether like Sweden.

War on the net

The internet has been the greatest instrument of freedom we have the pleasure to witness in recent times. But this is a real problem to the controlling elites. They are desperately trying to find ways to curb our use of this great Oracle. At the moment they do not have much control on the information we can access. When it was just the printed word as in newspapers and TV news it was easy to get the story straight, but now they have lost control of what we know. Right now Facebook and Twitter have had controls put on them to block certain content. We are losing the choice to make up our own minds of what we read.

War on CO2

Some time ago it was decided that the world was warming and this is caused by humans and not by any natural means. It cannot be anything to do with any normal cycles with the sun as the biggest driver of climate that have been going on for millions of years. No it must be us, we are the problem. CO2 is a poison not a vital ingredient of our atmosphere that plants need to grow. How arrogant that we could change the climate so much and even more arrogant that we could fix it. The climate will always change whatever we try to do, it has always changed in the past.
Anyway be controlling CO2 emissions they have a great tool to control us. As usual it is the ordinary people that have to suffer and not the elites at the top who ignore all their own advice, they are immune to anything they say.

War on freedom

There has been a war on our freedom for hundreds of years as the powers that be are moving ever towards their goal of controlling everything that we do or think. They are scared of us and the potential that we have. If we are to move on to the next dimension of our existence then it is up to us to grasp the chance now and not let some minority control our future world. This life is ours and not the property of someone else. Our future is up to us. (Forsooth)

Bombing achieves nothing

serveimage

It has not been proved that Syria has anything whatsoever to do with the terrible attacks in Paris the other week. The bombing of Iraq and Libya have proved beyond doubt that bombing achieves nothing but innocent civilian deaths. The west needs to stop arming ISIS as a proxy war against Syria. The proxy war against Syria has caused the refugee crisis and bombing the country can only make the situation much worse. (Forsooth)

Bombing achieves nothing.
